Oh man, s**t is about to hit the fan. PSN has been down since April 21 and Sony has not given us a real answer as too why…..until now. Sony states that “certain PSN and Qriocity service user account information was compromised” during an illegal intrusion between April 17 and April 19. Among the personal information that was stolen: name, address, email, birthdate, PSN network login/password, PSN handle, PSN password security answers, and possibly credit card information. Sony explains that “While there is no evidence at this time that credit card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility.” Are you kidding me?

This means the hackers could easily find your credit card information and make purchases. Things couldn't be worse for Sony right now. Oh yeah, tell them I said thanks for waiting a week before they released this information. The only thing we can do now is too check our accounts daily and make sure there are no funny transactions going on. Also, you might wanna change your password if you use it for multiple accounts. Jeez Sony, get your stuff together.
